Dirty Dan Days

In Fairhaven, WA they have a weekend to celebrate their founder "Dirty Dan" one of the ways they do this is by having a chowder cook off. You buy a pass and get a taste of all the different chowders of which there are many different styles from the traditional to the very different. After you've tried them all you pick your favorite and then vote for that one by giving them your badge and they give you a whole bowl.

We came with Amber and Jerad where we meet up with their family and friends who live in the area.

It was a very nice spring day and the event had a big turnout.
